Congratulations, Gemma!
Four Girls, One Boy born on an auspicious day: 08/08/08. G1 was born at 1008am local time (0808 Beijing!) so she gets an extra dose!
All had a healthcheck at 24 hours, and all are fine! They're thriving, having doubled their birthweights in 72 hours, tripled their birthweights in a week, and by day #20 are collectively 40% of Gemma's own mass! No wonder she's thin and tired!
By Day #33 (just short of five weeks) they are out and about playing outside, and have reached a collective weight of 13.5KG, rapidly approaching Gemma's own weight of 18.4KG at the last check. Even little Lina is up around the 2KG mark now.
At six weeks, the pups had their first day out; first to Jacqui's for a photoshoot with a decent camera for a change (pity that they were so determined NOT to be photographed today...) and a second trip to the vet for a health check (passed with flying colours) and their six-week C4 Vaccination shots.
The pups have just about reached Gemma's mass now. Together, they add up to 16.5kg, and Gemma has dropped down to her usual 16.8 or so. All going well, they should pass that this weekend. That's an awful lot of nutrition that passed through poor Gemma's system! She's lost five kilos since giving birth, too.

Four weeks already!
Have you tried the WeeBlog yet? This page is now only updated infrequently, as the WeeBlog is like a diary - and much easier to update :)
To see them at full size, click on the small image to see it at full resolution; if you want to see originals, those are available also by request. Note: because these are all loaded unconditionally, they have been "optimised" to smaller filesizes than the ones on the blog, which are loaded on demand (when you click).

Day 23 - mugshot time! In order, G1, G2, G3, G4, B1. (Shown at half resolution; right click & view image)

Day 22. Another first - they discovered that mum's bowl tastes gooooood. Gave them a go at Biolac after they decided they liked to lick up after Mum's afternoon tea (steak & kibble), and have been licking any exposed skin. Already developing a taste for red meat! Luckily, they haven't worked out that a finger contains red meat too...
And yet another milestone - G3 passed 2kg and little G1 soared past 1kg! Way to go, girl!

But 100% of customer's agree, Original CokeTM Tastes Better!

(Especially after mum found the bowl and polished off the lot!)
If they keep growing at this rate, I'll be throwing entire cows into the whelping box three times a day to keep them fed!

(If I can get someone to help pose them, I'll post another series of mugshots soon)

Day 20 - Wide awake, Alert, and watching mum play with the Aerobie
We opened our eyes and took our first shaky walks late on August 20th, as a birthday present for Gemma :)

Hi Mum! Happy birthday!
